Silent Night (2020)

Recently released from prison, Mark tries to reconnect with his daughter and give her a Christmas to remember. Struggling to find work, he meets his former cellmate, who encourages him to return to a life of crime. The decision soon becomes easier when Caddy, a ruthless crime boss, blackmails him into doing one last job.

WRITER / DIRECTOR Will Thorne is a Writer/Director and Producer. Starting out in the film industry working on features, commercials and music promos he fell into a career in Comedy/Entertainment television, after getting a job on a Lenny Henry sketch show. Working for UK Independents such as Tiger Aspect, Endemol and Avalon, he has spent time in development and worked on production for primetime shows for BBC1, ITV1, CH4 and MTV. In 2014 he began developing and producing feature doc. ‘One Man and His Shoes’ with Yemi Bamiro, and in 2015 began writing ‘Silent Night’ a crime thriller set in London at Christmas. In 2020 both feature films released theatrically and on home entertainment in the UK, with One Man and His Shoes featuring at both SXSW and the London Film Festival. Will was on the short list for the 2016 BFI Vision Awards and is on the 2020 longlist for the BIFA Breakthrough Producer and nominated for the Discovery awards.

Two Heads Creek (2019)

When their adoptive mother dies, a timid butcher and his drama queen twin sister quit the hostile confines of post-Brexit Britain and adventure to Australia in search of their birth mother — but the seemingly tolerant townsfolk are hiding a dark, meaty secret. The pair must reconcile their differences to fight for their own flesh and blood in this playfully dark comedy-horror.

WRITER – Jordan Waller is a writer and actor. He has had a number of his stage plays performed in London. Flesh and Blood is his first feature.  Currently regular Lord Alfred in ITV’s Victoria, he played Head Footman, Edward in Whit Stillman’s feature Love and Friendship and has recently appeared as Randolph Churchill in Joe Wright’s 2017 production Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott-Thomas.

DIRECTOR – Jesse O’Brien is an Australian writer/director with a background in TV commercials and VFX.  His debut feature ARROWHEAD received the John Hinde Award for Best Produced Science Fiction Screenplay from the Australian Writer’s Guild and best feature at Sydney’s Sci-Fi Film Festival (2015).  The film was released in 2016 through StudioCanal.
